I remember playing this weird fetish game where one important point for progression involved breaking into someone else's compound without their consent because of their assumed crimes against strangers. The game literally paused itself to tell me "yeah bro, this isn't a branching path. The story will not advance unless you make this choice right now. Either make the choice or quit out. Take as long as you need." So I thought about it for a moment and quit the game.
