So you think that all that compute being controlled by only a few companies is a good thing? I don’t see anything in that note saying that AI or tech is bad, but that those in power will use that tech to spy on us all at an unprecedented level.
If the govt, rather than private companies control AI that makes brain chips forced into your head MORE likely. Ultimately AI is advancing no matter what and these private corporations are competing with nation states such as China.
We already have mass surveilance via cameras on the streets and a huge number of people willingly put Amazon Alexa, Google Nest etc in their home as well that literally do spy on them.
He is just issuing a warning😉
