πŸ˜‚ I've spent the last days teaching midjourney how to make a vulcan hand gesture and only got this far. Thank you!Β πŸ––βš‘

Yes. Very difficult to teach MJ what to do,

Sometimes I wonder if I could have made it quicker myself πŸ˜‚

Haha but it's all part of the fun. I'm happy with these. I really like Live Long and Nostr and have changed my emoji from shaka as a result. Just working on a new avatar and happy to try my hand for other nostriches.

I spend a fair amount of time on MJ and DallE would love to share and learn 😊

Followed! Hit me up anytime! Haven't tried DallE yet but just got the pro subscrption to MJ so I can meddle in private/have more hours haha.

Yep I got the MJ sub too! Yep let’s connect 😊

I have only spent a few minutes here and there. I'm curious. Do you write novel like prompts to get the image you want?

Basically yes, together with assigning weights to different aspects. Eventually it ends being some sort of pseudo code

More or less. You have to talk to it like a programmer somewhat and find the things it understands to push it in the right direction. It does take time funnily enough. I usually end up with pretty long prompts and you start to develop a style from certain reused prompts

Do you think MJ remember or learns from individuals styles? So that after a while your generated art tends to have somewhat unique style?

Yes it also learns the terms you use and the styles get more accurate as you re-use them.

Could you share your prompt that you used to create these images as an example?

So it is kind of layered because you can use source images to process. So for this I used source images of spock like this:

Then added things like purple ostrich, cyberpunk, moody lighting, (a negative) --no changing the hand gesture,Β  in the style of hand drawn animation

Awesome. I assumed you could use source images, but I'm not sure how you do that via the discord bot.

You can just add the link. Then you can use your mixed up MJ file as a source image again and do more things to it, and make variations etc etc it ends up sometimes being a long process haha

Here is a full prompt:

Large Hadron Collider like Bitcoin::Bitcoin:7::Photo realistic:3::hyperdetailed:3::Intricate design:4::Neon lights:2

Try it out 😊

Are the numbers intensity?

Yes

Yeah it's weight of element
