Why do we need DAOs?

Setting up an organization with someone providing funding and money requires a lot of trust in the people you work with. But it's hard to trust someone you've only talked to online. With DAO you don't need to trust anyone in the group, just the DAO code, which is 100% transparent and can be verified by anyone.

This opens up a lot of new possibilities for global collaboration and coordination.
