That’s one of the nicest things I’ve been told on here.

It was inspired by a source that surprised me (a Tucker Carlson video) that made me start evaluating whether I am speaking the truth to myself and others or not.

Regardless of alignment on any issue of any scale from personal to national, I think it’s good advice, and something I want to strive towards doing better myself.

I've been trending towards this way of thinking the past year as well.

Quantum physics has really been showing us how relative reality can be, and it got me thinking about how much one's beliefs shape their reality.

If one's reality is relative and reality is all we have, then it seems truth can be relative to the individual as well. We all want to believe that truth is absolute but when trying to relate to others this can put up barriers.

Like you said respect is the ultimate path to building relationships and it seems to open so many doors to joy even with someone who fundamentally has a different reality than you.
