I’ll be interested to see the long term effects, but we already know all the heartache obesity leads to. Best intervention is for people not to ruin their metabolism in the first place, it’s hard to stick to lifestyle change if you feel like you’re starving all the time, even if you tell yourself its psychosomatic. Hopefully we can promote this as part of the toolkit to promote lifestyle change, not the solution itself. At the moment I understand if people go off the drug they put the weight back on (same issue with BP intervention, right?)
