I do not recognize fiat as having any value.
Let’s be real, even Zimbabwean dollars have the value of the paper it is printed on. Unless paper has no value to you.

It has negative value, it occupies space that could otherwise be used by useful, blank paper
It can be recycled, burned as fuel, used as construction materials etc.
