Do some clients automatically re-broadcast events or do nostream ask events from other relays in some cases?

Somehow there's alot stuff in my relay and was quessing how thos work.

If i have client only connected to my relay, am i safe to spam it without worrying my events end up spamming other relay's?

Example in picture, i can found my profile thats not connected to my relay 🤔😄

I had profile that was connecting other relays too, so it think this is why this happening, but is it client or relay broadcasting events?

Ps. It must be relay asking events from others, becouse nostr .band or snort did not find events broadcasted only to my relay.... I dont know.

There are lots of people rebroadcasting some event types. User metadata is the most common one. It helps everyone find a users info + their preferred relays.

Thank you for answering, apppriciate slot, i would think you have alot another things to do than answer my questions 🙏💜

If someone broadcast event, will it broadcast it every time when another client sees that event? Im confused becouse ports to my home network where relay is running is closed. Or they should be. And i dont run proxy other than locally.

But its good to know that my events i do for testing should stay only in my relay. Unless i click broadcast and load that event with profile connected to other relays?

Amethyst will only broadcast when you press the button, but there are no guarantees with other clients.

Ok. Thank you. Now i know how to find out how they ended up to my relay, becouse there now way they did come from outside of my local network.

Thank you.

Would be neat if there was a way to track a note just for modelling purposes to see how it propagated across the network.
