In the city of Durostor, during the reign of Emperor Julian the Apostate, Saint Emilian, a Christian, was arrested for refusing to worship pagan idols. Though tortured, he remained steadfast in his faith. Enraged, the Romans threw him into a blazing fire. As the flames consumed him, Saint Emilian, a humble baker, prayed, praising God until his last breath. Today, we remember his courage. Holy #Martyr Emilian, pray to God for us and intercede for the Church!
