A bandaid fix. You can't fix lightning. The core of the protocol is broken. For self custody at least. Also lightning is still in beta. At least LND and CLN are.
Lightning isn't broken. It works surprisingly well. But it's not a protocol for self-custody. You wouldn't drive a screw with a hammer and say that hammers are broken.
I was being cheeky but ecash is an excellent tool for just-in-time channel rebalancing. I saw a very impressive demo today. 🤙
