After many hours of learning and troubleshooting my way through the app. I can finally say, we have an alpha version!

For those curious about what is happening under the hood. The app creates an encrypted to-do list event (Kind 48636 - EncryptedTODO) and sends it to a temporary hard-coded relay.
With a nostr extension sign-in you shouldn't worry about breaking anything. The app doesn't touch profiles, followers, or relays.
This is alpha:
(1) We don't have a defined Kind yet. we already have a plan to update how to-do list events are created, sending to-do list items as separate events, this is more like proof of concept.
(2) I don't think pulling your relay list is working yet.
(3) Github Pages doesn't seem to be able to handle the app well.

Yes and npub tagging.
The big play that I’m trying to get to is zappable todo list items. Why… still not 100% sure 🤣 because we can I guess.
But that will be implemented when we update some of the under the hood stuff and duplicate the app to have both encrypted and non-encrypted todo lists.
