👨💻 Bitcoin v0.11 Launched
On July 12, 2015, Bitcoin v0.11 was launched. This #Bitcoin #Core release added:
- #block pruning (reduced disk space by deleting old block data),
- experimental big-endian support,
- memory usage optimizations,
- improved fee estimation,
- option to disable automatic wallet transaction broadcast for #privacy,
- stream isolation for #Tor to enhance privacy and reliability.
