Maxis have had a fable for custody for a long tkme if not ever. Otherwise they would have put out a clear defensive way to GROW block size.

Before the narrative has always been LN, which despite its flaws and shortcomings, it's at least self-custodial (meaning you can always unilaterally exit).
There has been a sudden unnatural push by seemingly everyone for ecash. That is why I said that strangely Semisol's take is now the unpopular one.
