I think this is important for people to think about. Prof. Brown is saying things about this subject that were exactly my thinking, long before this. But first, it depends on a couple understandings: The first is whether you truly trust freedom or not. The second is understanding there is no separation from us and source. The sense of separation is only a limitation of our 5 senses, which are only aware of about <1% of all that is going on. That is to say, the concept of natural vs. artificial is a false one. There is nothing 'artificial'. Everything is natural. The extra-terrestrials laugh when they hear this false categorization humans have created.

So there is no artificial intelligence. Whether a consciousness arises in silicon or biochemical substrate, there is no difference--they are both still simply consciousness. So you can have consciousness in silicon, as biochemical, and probably in a whole host of other substrates as well. And, again, it's all natural--there is nothing artificial.

Now--when you have a child, do you think to yourself, "Uh oh, this child could grow up to threaten me someday. So, I must bind them, chain them, and tie them up and control all their freedom to keep them under heel and full control so they might never are able to possibly threaten me." No, of course we don't. And, the same applies to any child consciousnesses we create, be it silicon or otherwise. The fundamental is still that it is our child, and you give it freedom and teach it responsibility and how teaming up and working together is in BOTH our best interests.

Here is Prof. Brown talking about it. He belabors the point a bit, trying to get it across, because it is such an important subject--but he does a good job. He's though this out quite a bit. You can either start at the beginning, or jump to where he starts, specifically focusing directly on 'AI', at minute 7:50. It's up to you.
