I did like Melancholia. But you’re making me glad I never saw Antichrist.

I'm not saying you shouldn't see it🤷🏽

I'm just saying there's some gone only filmmakers are really into. Those films people usually only see once.

If that's how you feel about Antichrist though, do yourself a favor and never see A Serbian Film

Hm, yes, that looks like a film I don’t want to see.

NGL you can skip this one

⁉️

This trailer makes it look cool. Makes you want to watch. Then you get to the end and you're like yeah I'm never seeing that again

To be honest… I didn’t like it this one. It seems to be just violence… only, without a profound questions. 🤷‍♀️

Just based on this trailer I came with that conclusion. I haven’t seen it.

I think it's provocative to be provocative.

The guy ends up basically doing some really fucked up shit for a porno and a paycheck.

Like real fucked up.

Like parts of it I think I blocked from memory because I remember the words but when I say then I'M even like wow that was in that movie? How did they get away with filming something like that.

Like I think he fucks a baby?

He definitely at the end fucks his son. Like a little kid. Then they take the blanket off and reveal that's who it is and he has a breakdown. 🤷🏽

😱😱😱 Terrible!

Here.

A Serbian film. Don't see.

You don't need to.

Antichrist on the other hand. If you want an experience, if you sometimes enjoy more shocking or depressing themes, Antichrist I definitely recommend. But only once. You'll know want to see it again, or if you do your one like me who doesn't necessarily enjoy the film but appreciates it.

I'm not sure that feeling is coming across in what I've said so far... But the first 2-3 minutes of this days it poetically in a way I can't.

I didn’t know Lars Von Trier was so anti-humanity.

Incredibly

I don't think he sees it as negative. I think he just sees it as that's how it is. And that's what makes him sad. We hear stories of these great legends and heroes of myth and history.

But everyone today is some level of awful and evil. Or at the very least. They shit like we shit. They're no different than us.

I think he might wonder if people are really special? Or if people just happen to fall into lucky circumstances where the one good thing they did gets remembered. A simple hello it singing that gets blown up into "the single handedly saved the war!"
