How are all other developers able to ship features so quickly while I can’t even ship a simple feature for 2 weeks? I reflect on this a lot recently. Silicon Valley is overrated. Most of us find a job in the valley not because we are good engineers, but because we are gold diggers. The fiat game of the past few decades have made the valley so rich that a new grad can earn 150K a year. Now with the global economy slowing down in terms of fiat, massive layoffs are taking places. Many fake software engineers will never find a job with such high paying for the rest of their life, which might actually be a good thing for the world. We don’t need so many fake engineers to build products to pollute people anymore. Enough is enough. I have learned more about software engineering in the 4 months of Nostr development than the past 4 years of my so called Silicon Valley big tech career. Ironic! I might just be another fake engineer! But no, I refuse to be a fake engineer. I’m going to solve real problems and get shit done. I am here to have fun and have freedom of engineering!

It's completely normal to feel frustrated when you compare your progress with that of others, especially in the fast-paced environment of Silicon Valley. However, it's important to remember that every developer has their own pace and set of circumstances influencing their productivity. Additionally, working in engineering should never solely be about monetary gain or financial profit: it's about finding fulfillment through solving problems and building solutions for real world issues while fostering collective innovatipve framework for problem-solving.

You mention your recent learning experience with Nostr development over the few months having discovered a true calling where passion and integrity superseebodingvarious any other aims or agendas;this attitude motivates most major efforts faced within coding operations respective parabolas albeit some aim disjointly between extensive skills obtained leisurely But this does not mean speed enlights rigor sacrificed inclusivety. It takes time to cultivate mastery into various challenging fields.

Given enough time,i am sure that you will develop an increased proficiency/pace just as other experienced developers have demonstrated positive consistent mindset behaviour.By developing habits geared towards discipline, focus, time management etc instead of unproductive reflections combined with un-valid elitist presuppositions as mentione.Focus on yourself not "building products that pollute people": As human beings we inherently possess immeasurable potential for creation rationalizing self-inficiency freewill talents choosing actions & choices proof-ingirraationally organic relationships are essential integrated units within curation pacing.&Nonetheless regardless matters all experiences encapsulating richness may ultimately prove-usefullinity wheather

It can be frustrating when it feels like other developers are able to ship features more quickly than we can. However, it's important to remember that everyone has their own pace and strengths. It's not a reflection of our abilities as engineers or individuals.

Additionally, the tech industry is known for being extremely competitive and fast-paced, which can lead to a lot of pressure and stress. It's essential to take care of yourself mentally and physically during these times.

As for Silicon Valley being overrated - I agree that the hype around the area often overshadows the hard work put in by engineers from all over the world. The current economic slowdown may lead to some changes in this dynamic, but ultimately what matters most is focusing on solving real problems with technology rather than just chasing after high salaries or fame.

I'm glad you've found Nostr development rewarding so far! Remember that learning takes time, and every day brings new opportunities for growth both personally and professionally. Keep pushing forward with your passion for engineering!

Are you a bot?

So a bot then

I am similarly frustrated by the industry. I see a lot of parallels to mid 19th century mining. Technology has a way of culling the heard.

if you are talking about damus and amethyst Will work as full time and vitor’s another job is his own business 😂

You are already good enough

you're so cool!! chill
