Sending sats to cold storage for the first time is probably one of the most eureka moments of my life. From that moment, I was in charge of my own money.
I hope everyone get to experience that.

I read a lot about bitcoin and listened to some pods as a no-coiner but when I bought my first chunk and moved it to cold storage I immediately understood how brilliant and powerful of an innovation it was.
Agree but want to add there are two things better after what you wrote:
1) Helping someone else do cold storage who isn't computer/Bitcoin savvy and then answering their questions
2) Having someone lose or lock out their hardware device and then 'recovering' their Bitcoin with their 12/24 seed phrase on a totally different device.
"Lost my Bitcoin in a Boating Accident" is much funnier once you have taken the Bitcoin cold storage plunge.
