It's still baffling to me that bitcoiners are spending their time on X. I can understand checking here and there, but to spend all their time on it... why? 😔

I agree on X, but I do sometimes miss seeing different stuff on Instagram, for example. Sometimes I just want to see content from my favorite cigar brands or whatever. I love Bitcoin, but I can understand why some people don't want to see the same shit over and over.
However, X was hardly different because of the type of users. I still saw mostly Bitcoin content but also a lot of other stupid shit from the crypto/gold bros. So I definitely don't see the appeal of X for a Bitcoiner in particular. Seems like the worst of all worlds with the centralization.
I'm more understanding of Instagram, YouTube, etc. Although I only use YT outside of Nostr now. Being early has pros and cons.
As much as we hate algorithms, they work. Even though after an hour of scrolling my anxiety was through the roof and my despair was at an all time high, I kept going back.
Glad to be off the drip.
