Am I nuts for wanting to be on a voyage like this? I certainly don't think so. That's a proper adventure IMO.

Prob less mortality rate taking that voyage now than when they had no other option. I'd do it!

Right? I've always dreamed of sailing across oceans. LFG! ๐Ÿป

We are gonna have to switch to Mai Tais, just saying. ๐Ÿป๐Ÿป๐Ÿป

Yarrrr or something that really burns a hole through like Cocorco 96%ABV ๐Ÿ’€ โšฐ๏ธ

Oh, got you. Rhum Agricole and Rum Fire split base ๐Ÿ”ฅ daquiris

I'd like to sample THAT!

Scratch that , Plantation OFTD and Rhum Agricole. Waaaay better!

As long as it doesn't kill me, I'm in.

๐Ÿค

Its a sipper. Water will be provided. ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ

๐Ÿ˜‚ Ok ok, still gotta make to the destination, you know. Sailors are known to be drunk so..

There's no way a sober person would agree to that trip on a wooden boat and 30% survival rate.

100% true

No regerts!!

One of these days I'm going to take a page out of Henigways drinking schedule and try to live a day in his shoes. 15 Daquiris for breakfast, some deep sea fishing for cardio and 10 old fashioned for dinner.

๐Ÿคข

Good luck, Sergio.

It was nice knowing you. ๐Ÿซ‚

Just look at all that privilege

Definitely not!

Seeing this reminded by of the Juan Sebastian Elcano, the training ship for midshipmen at the Spanish naval academy.

Fantastic. I love seeing schooners. I guess the Spaniards have never left their conquistador roots.

๐Ÿ’ฏ sign me up. It would be brutal but character-building, gotta send it

YES!! ๐Ÿค

I know I will learn a lot from an experience like that.

This is wild!

I have been in the sea with such conditions and not once. It is one of the reasons i prefer mountains now. Never again (i hope). In fact i see the video and i am afraid i am going to puke ๐Ÿคฎ

LFG! ๐Ÿคฉ

Yes it is! I was an amateur sailor in college and volunteered to crew a 50โ€™ vintage sailing vessel to take out a group of at-risk-teenagers for a over-nighter. The seas became pretty rough and it was a hard night however the captain was an amazing sailor. Didnโ€™t puke but nearly froze to death, thank god for rum fortified coffee to get me through the night. Not sure what the teens took away from the whole ordeal. Probably to behave better so that they wouldnโ€™t be sent on such an adventure again. From the warmth of my home I can now reflect back more positively on the memory ;-)

This is excellent. ๐Ÿ™‚

Thank you for sharing.

You are not

When 100,000 sats can buy a sailboat, Iโ€™ll make it happen. Iโ€™ll sail around the world on my Leopard 45.
