Been thinking about moving to Texas. Northern AB is still chilly. Missing the short months I spent working near Houston, hanging out at Gaido’s in Galveston, visiting the boardwalk at Kemah, training at the shooting range with the guys from the PD in Jersey City, and sleeping on the beach in a rental SUV on South Padre. Hunting hogs with guys from TXDOT, noodling for catfish, eating crawfish etouffé, hearing sir and ma’am everywhere I went, and the sweet heat of summer at 95% humidity. Fixin’ to look for work down there again.
