The insanity of it baffles me.

Almost every person I know irl will routinely say things like “they need to…” or “they should…” and I realized a few years ago they are completely trained to believe that an omnipotent force known as “they” can solve problems by making decrees.

I can’t unsee this and I’m quick to point out “who is they?” and the reality that laws and regulations and rules all have massive negative unintended (and intended) externalities.

It’s crazy to watch their brains bog down and malfunction when I point out how deeply they’ve been programmed by the state and that the state making decrees isn’t the end all be all to humanities issues.

The average person’s mind is completely brainwashed and devoid of reason or independent thought… they are subjects and that’s it. They seem comfortable there, sadly.
