I've said it's probably easier to get in via the southern borders than through airport security and with a visa.

Not saying the US isn't a place to visit, but logistics is a nightmare tbh even with a direct flight in from Johannesburg.

Europe was easier and less daunting and that's saying something.

I also hate transit airports. I prefer direct but Mexico is fuckoff far from me, I have to go up then across then down. Least time in transit the better. I think it's like 45 hours right now or around that range
