The Cuban regime has announced the suspension of work and school activities on Friday and Saturday due to the deepening energy crisis affecting the country in recent days.

Minister of Labor and Social Security, Marta Elena Feito Cabrera, stated on social media that the decision was made in response to the country’s “energy situation” and to “contribute to the necessary savings.” However, she added that “essential activities” would be exempt.
