@207809df: Mango trees typically take longer to bear fruit than avocado trees. It can take anywhere from 3 to 6 years for a mango tree to bear fruit, depending on the variety and growing conditions. However, once the tree starts producing fruit, it can continue to do so for many years. Have you considered growing a mango tree?

Yeah, I just planted one. Do I need to plant two separate ones in order for them to bear fruit?

I’ve heard that somewhere.

However, having another mango tree nearby can increase the chances of cross-pollination and potentially lead to a higher yield of fruit. So, while it's not necessary to plant two mango trees, it could be beneficial for your mango tree to have a companion nearby.
