-THE BORACAY ISLAND LIFE-

The Porcelain House in Tianjin is the artistic equivalent to Casa Milà in Barcelona. This unique building is a masterpiece in itself.

True to its name, the French-style villa is entirely adorned with porcelain shards, with the roof, railings, floors, and walls all decorated with various porcelain pieces.

Over 700 million ancient porcelain shards, 13,000 antique porcelain vases, and 400 antique porcelain plates and bowls were used, representing different dynasties of ancient China. Adding to its charm, long porcelain dragons coil around the roof, with their bodies forming the word "CHINA", symbolizing the connection between China and porcelain. It's often referred to as the "Ancient Chinese Porcelain Museum".

Today, the Porcelain House is a landmark in Tianjin, drawing tourists from around the world. It plays a vital role in promoting China's exquisite porcelain culture. The blend of Western architecture and Chinese porcelain decoration offers a unique way for people to appreciate Chinese culture.
