Proof of Value before any zapping. Fuck newbies. When I joined Nostr I was welcomed by confusion & people sending DM’s thinking they were posting (true story).

Figure it out. Provide value. Or fuck right off.

Of course the newbie scam accounts is one thing.

When I onboard a friend, I want some stranger to zap them cause they can. Thoughts?

That’s different. Read my post again. I’m pro zaps. I’m anti newbie welcome zaps from a welcome committee bot or Nostr leader. That’s dumb as shit. Drives bad behavior.

Introducing your friend & then people zapping is not even close to what I meant.
