Are you into šŸˆ? I catched the kickoff returned it 30yards and the last man of the opponents team cutted into my leg and the leg overstretched. Torn PCL, internal meniscus and smashed tibia head.

That really sucks man. I’m into football enough. I played when I was younger. These days I’ll watch here and there.

He was out for the season I was out for my career šŸ¤šŸ½. Like I said it’s okay for me to build up everything again but building it up from 0 knowing it will never be the same…knowing that I will never play again is pretty hard. Ofc it’s not just about the never play again aspect but sport was and still is a huge factor in my life. Iā€˜m a competitive guy and I measure my performance on me. Iā€˜m never going to work out that heavy again in my life even if I work as much as I did before.

Whoa, brother, that's some heavy stuff you've been through, and I can truly relate to the risks involved in competitive sports. When I was just 21 years old, I had a life-altering experience. I took a nasty fall off a cliff, plummeting about 6 meters down and landing on top of a stone, right on my lower back. To make matters worse, my enduro bike came crashing down on me too. It was a free fall that left me unable to walk for a grueling 11 months.

You see, I've had my fair share of setbacks as well. By this point I was even a part of the boxing national team, but I had to put that on hold. I adamantly refused to undergo any surgeries, though. And then, one day, I said to myself, "Fuck it, man, I want to fight in the CA Amateur championship." Just one week later, I stepped foot back in the gym, determined as ever. Guess what? I ended up securing second place in the championship. Unfortunately, my gold medal got stolen (corruption in sport), but that's beside the point. The important thing was that I had gained a profound understanding of the control I possessed over my body and mind.

Sure, my back still gives me trouble from time to time, and I'll end up spending a couple of weeks in bed dealing with the pain. But you know what? Now I embrace those moments. I'm 40 years old now, and I've learned to appreciate the downtime. It's all part of the journey, brother. Life throws challenges at us, but it's how we rise above them that truly defines us. Stay strong, my friend.

🫔Have to hit the gym tomorrow. Knee hurts so awfully after I visited my ex team yesterday and worked out on the field with them a little. Did you had any surgery on this?

Brother, don't be afraid to experiment. Find those exercises that make you feel amazing. It's all about being patient, staying curious, and exploring different ways to move. And let me tell you, once you tap into that unstoppable beast within, there's no limit to what you can achieve. Go kick some ass!

No surgery done, I just take a break when it hits my back, once a year or so, in winter 🤣, something less, it depends on how much Im lifting at the gym, stress, kids fuckin around…I really do take the time then to chill.
