I know that you know what you're saying. However, can you somehow elaborate, please?

People think bitcoin is expensive. They don’t realize you can buy fractions, or even if they do there’s a denomination bias (it seems like a small amount). Owning one bitcoin even is hard and it’s a big deal. But if you simply call 100,000,000 sats bitcoins instead of sats then “bitcoin” is suddenly affordable. One current bitcoin holder becomes the holder of 100,000,000 bitcoins. And one bitcoin is no longer 90k, it’s a small fraction of a penny … whatever the current math comes out to. So… people might think bitcoin will reach dollar parity eventually and be more willing to buy it. And it’ll be easier to just call all of it bitcoin instead of sats - eliminating confusion.

But this is a HUGE change. I honestly don’t know what will happen if it goes into effect; but I suppose it might be good

It could backfire too, since there will no longer be 21m bitcoins and critics will say the supply was diluted 🤣

Sats just needs to become a more prevalent term. Or perhaps BitcoinSats. 😁

What if normies will claim resemblance of the sat 丰 symbol to swastika. 🙃
