Pinetab much better IMO. Plus you can choose between arm and RISC-V.

Not tried the Pine. StarLabs options looks decent

In comparison to purism starlabs hardware is superior, but their version of coreboot needs more development. In the end pine64 wins because lower price=more users, and you end up with many skilled users reverse engineering this and that, and writing open firmwares and better support for multiple OS'es.

Seems very underpowered though. Would imagine it being pretty sluggish.

8gb of ram and the arm processor are enough for average tasks...BTW what do you think are the best hardwares in the market with coreboot?

No idea tbh, not my area of expertise.

Pine64 is great for tinkering and software development. Own a pinephone for testing purposes. But hardware is often pretty low but open.

Have been using a pinephone since 2020. It's been a privilege to participate in the birth of Linux mobile.

Pinephone pro is a huge advance though
