Wake up at the same time each day without fail. And when I say wake up, I mean “get the fuck out of the bed and don’t fucking touch your phone or other devices” until 1 hour or so after it

Sometimes I fall asleep with my phone in hand lol, you are right though I should not do that. What about if you had to stay up late? Should you still wake at the same time or let your body get extra sleep?

Yes, same time. Take a nap later in the day, to compensate

A big part for starting my streaming activities was to give me a morning task to focus on before work so I got out of doom scrolling. An hour of music each morning definitely helps my mental state through the day. Recently things have got very tough, especially since coming off meds for generalised anxiety and other brain issues.
