Satoshi said he sees bitcoin scaling via merge mined side chains on bitcointalk before he left.
He also created Namecoin as well, Does that make Satoshi a shitcoiner as well?
Satoshi is not a god. Satoshi is a human, too. Satoshi can be wrong.
Satoshi was a scientist.
Namecoin was a failed hypothesis.
I agree, and actually name coin merge mining idea was used to build the Rootstock bitcoin sidechain and develop Blockstream sidechain white paper.
So sometimes shitcoins can provide value and innovation which can help make bitcoin better.
