I've never written an essay in my adult life. In fact, when I was at school, I was told that I was dyslexic. Throughout my adult life, I have felt embarrassed to write in public and always found long-form writing a chore. Writing puts me in an uncomfortable place that I previously looked to escape from.

I will write my first essay about "why another form of digital money won't replace #Bitcoin". The essay will argue that Bitcoin’s resilience, like internet protocols, positions it as a natural focal point in the global financial system, difficult to disrupt or replace due to its network effects and #trustless, #decentralised structure.

I thought I'd start with something I'm passionate about. I also wanted to debunk a common misconception that makes people vulnerable to being fooled by the #grifters waiting for them to enter the #altcoin #casino.
