U.S. Southern Command (SOUTHCOM) has released footage of aerial and amphibious landing drills conducted earlier this month in Puerto Rico by the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (22nd MEU). The exercises were carried out with the Iwo Jima Amphibious Ready Group (ARG), part of the naval task force deployed to counter narco-cartel activity in the Southern Caribbean near Venezuela’s coast.
