I think it’s a helpful visual of why SVB failed. HTM securities aren’t marked to market, so it’s harder to see what they’re actually worth
They failed because they have a fractional reserve and a shit ton of government bonds. Rates blasted of and the bond value took a shit.
A little run turned them insolvent.
The funny thing is 90% of the banks in the US are in worse shape than SVB.
Any run on any bank in the US and they are insolvent too.
It's a fucking shut show.
They just aren't making it public knowledge because they second they do the entire house of cards comes troubling down.
Ps it is the sMe across all of Europe and most of the world.
The entire FIAT ponzi scheme is legit on the teetering on the edge.
