At this point i don't think purchasing an Microsoft Windows License is worth anymore.
Microsoft is testing ads within the Start menu of Windows 11, specifically in the Recommended section. Currently, this is limited to Windows Insiders in the US and can be turned off in settings https://alternativeto.net/news/2024/4/microsoft-is-trying-out-adding-ads-to-the-windows-11-start-menu/
