UBI may be well intended, but the reality is that it would just accelerate the issues it tries to solve. You’ll just add more money chasing the same amount of product.

Even worse, the politicians pushing for it are the same ones that demonize meat and petroleum, tell us the world is overpopulated, and don’t want you to use a combustion engine.

You may want to help the poor, but making them dependent on the bureaucrats above is sentencing them to death.

The road to hell is paved with good intentions.

Is it more money? Isn’t it the same money but now allocated by the poor instead of the rich?

I think we probably have two options: UBI or kill AI

I mean under the AI assumption, the AI is the proletariat, the wage earning class. Assuming we find a way to control it, we’re the aristocracy.

No it's more money. They don't have the money to pay for UBI so they will print more money for free and pump it into the system.

They run trillions in debt every year. That is just all paid for with new money made from nothing buy the fed. That is why the middle class is F'd. Where are the new trillions of dollars needed for ubi going ro come from?

Assuming AI, then from the AI economy
