In the right climate they grow like stink and produce an abundance of fruit. When in season everyone has purple hands.

That’s how my crop generally is. The corner of my yard with the two mature trees smells like fermenting wine by the end of the season and we get drunk squirrels.

My mum tells me I used to sit under the mulberry tree when I was like 2 and just eat mulberry’s until I was purple head to toe and clothes ruined. Now it’s apparent what I was doing was getting drunk. Thanks

They start to dissolve pretty fast once they fall, so I doubt the ones you were eating had fermented. 🤗
