I got a lot of backlash and negative feedback back then for being supportive of the idea, and for being against likes in general. "On nostr only for the money" was a common accusation thrown around. Wtf 🤣🤣 I have never enabled likes again and there is no turning back. I love the experience without them.

Yea. It's a misunderstanding of economics, common with what is taught in schools today. So much coercion is involved in so many of our purchases that it's too often forgotten that, here in a voluntary v4v environment free of coercion, one can only 'make money' if people choose to part with it. Fraud is still an issue, but here we have a level playing field and we can 'zap the change we want to see in the world.'
