I think this is why it's so hard to explain why #bitcoin is important to people in the UK and Europe. They are struggling with cost of living but it has been eroded over decades so it doesn't feel as bad as it does to those in countries with hyper inflation. You tell them it's going to happen here and they snobbishly write it off as something that only happens in poor south American countries.
Unfortunately I think things are going to have to get a lot worse before they get better. 🤷♂️

Perfectly stated, I'm sure we all have stories of things we were warned about that we ignored until they smacked us in the face. All we can do is keep spreading the word and be there for those who are curious or have taken enough face smacks to start paying attention.
