Just as it was a huge mistake to let the most fearful among us dictate covid policy, it would be a huge mistake to let the most aggrieved among us dictate Middle East/Israel policy.

In a court of law the jury (made up of ordinary people) renders the verdict. But excluded from the jury are people too biased from prior experience to be impartial.

Those who are most emotional always want to make decisions for everyone, but while their emotions are often understandable under the circumstances they are exactly who should not be making them.
