This is why I stay away from all AI assistants. They are all a privacy nightmare - some just more than others.
#1 downloaded “free app” is DeepSeek AI Assistant.
There is nothing free about your data being fed to a CCP machine.

Same. I don’t want anything to do with the “helper”
I use Perplexity everyday and everytime.
I stopped Google (DuckDuckGo) thinks.
It just so much better and i´m way more productive.
But you´re absolutly right it´s a privacy nightmare and i want a FOSS version of an Ai App.
