In a sense of a subscription yes, can’t think of anything other case

No but I think being able to send an automatic payment to a podcast when they release a new episode could be cool. Don't know if I'd use it but seems like some might.
Not really. The only «scheduled» payment I need is a subscription (regular donation).
I’m not sure if I really need that but maybe it might be used if I did not have now enough sat on my balance but I would have it the next day and now I could schedule that outgoing payment for day +2 and it would get executed when there was sufficient balance. This is analogy to what I do sometimes on my bank account.
