My child, a breath within His hand,
A life I cannot understand.
The icon's gaze, a silent plea,
"Thy #Will, O Lord, be done through me."
A father's heart, a fragile thing,
To trust when shadows softly cling.
The liturgy, a whispered prayer,
To bear this cross, with love and care.
His path unfolds, a mystery deep,
In faith, my soul, its vigil keep.
Though tears may fall, and doubts may rise,
His Grace reflects in my children's eyes.
Through Pascha's light, and somber Lent,
A father's love, divinely sent.
To guide, to shield, with strength from above,
And trust in His eternal love.
