the latter must indeed precede the former... my main point was more that the same was as micro-services arch was not the panacea it was touted to be, micro-apps will come with their share of tradeoffs, especially in the UX space

for microapps to deliver a good and seemless ux, i fear there will inevitably be some layering / aggregation - dare i say it, centralisation

or perhaps, as html was to http - a standard composition format will emerge that'll make nostr microapps user (user-agent ;) composable
