In Venezuela, where i’m from, on the border with brazil and up in the rainforest people use gold to pay for goods. I witnessed it and I couldn’t believe it. They literally have to weigh it and also add a 10% premium for “impurity”. They say we don’t need Bitcoin as money? Think again.
