are we saying that in order to avoid this predicament, nostr users must pseudonomise our name to exercise censorship resistance? if we need to hide our name then this is not censorship resistant. the idea is to freely express your opinion without being censored or banned. this is not what I understood on @fiatjaf's website. am I missing something or misunderstanding the note? #asknostr π€

I think censorship is about allowing or disallowing to post certain things.
But the consequences of posting something is not part of censorship.
So in my opinion, censorship resistance won't and does not suppose to save you from consequences.
Maybe I am wrong.

It's not about getting banned or censored on nostr but be persecuted by the government
I guess that is the end of the first amendment or freedom of speech then. if you cannot express yourself without being presecuted then that's the demise of your freedom of expression.
Yeah we don't have the first amendment we have the article 5 of the constitution that doesn't allow even people being anonymous.
Elon is saying the Supreme Court is violating the law that yeah can be true.
