Being a Bitcoiner is weird, I am essentially broke living paycheck to paycheck. However if I were willing to sell part of my stack I would have no financial worries for quite a while.

This is what a lowered time preference does, I would much rather work hard and live below my means today so that I can enjoy the fruits of my labor in the future.
