I have seen what they teach. They are definitely overpaid.

"tech people" that can mean a plethora of different things.
Exactly
Many "tech people" are benevolent and don't do it as a career or indoctrinate other peoples childeren, rather help liberate them. This is rare for career teachers which are referred to here.
