Gm. Harvesting a bed of spinach while listening to all the migrant birds that showed up last night. Cape May and black and white warblers, scarlet tanager and a yellow throated vireo all new this morning. Have a wonderful spring day.

Nice bed of spinach! I wish I could grow spinach without row covers we have a nasty leaf miners problem in our area.

We get leaf miners in a few weeks. This is all overwintered spinach. It will bolt in a few weeks. I plant one bed of spring sowed spinach and it usually gets some leaf miner damage
