All great points.

For me it’s more of his clear personal foibles, like his narcissism which borders on egomania. But then again, I can’t imagine doing what he’s done without having an irrepressible ego 🤷‍♂️

Fair enough. I tend to judge a man by his family. And, well, his family seems pretty rad. Smart, well behaved, talented kids, and a lovely amazing wife who has stuck with him through really terrible stuff. So... While I'm not a rabid acolyte, he's not the worst, not my a long shot.

I actually think that Alex Jones is extremely funny when he isn't being serious.

Jones is hysterical but he’s on the payroll

He has his moments of clarity & insight.

He really misses the ball on things like Bitcoin though, which is frustrating.

I like that he doesn't appear to be captured or compromised. I don't have the save confidence with people like Rogan & A Jones.

I enjoy his perspective but I prefer it when he's not trying to be funny. I guess it's his way of staying out of the cross hairs & pulling an income.

I agree, Jones and Rogan are as captured as they come. Classic Hegelian dialectic.

Norm Macdonald comes close. Fearless. Even when trying to not be funny, he ends up being funny. RIP. One of the all time greats.

OTOH Greg Giraldo was pretty savage but not well-known and limited by drug use. Same for Mitch Hedberg.
